HSA Explores Innovation Models in the Food Industry to Boost Development in Latin America
As part of its strategic meetings and events, the Hispanic Social Assembly (HSA) visited the facilities of a leading food company known for its high-quality and health-focused products. During the visit, Alejandro Suárez closely analyzed the company’s high-tech system, evaluating its processes and methodologies to identify opportunities to be replicated and adapted in Latin America. This experience aligns with HSA’s mission to export knowledge and successful models that strengthen regional local production.
Access to cutting-edge technology in the food industry not only enhances product quality but also increases the competitiveness of producers in international markets. In this regard, HSA aims to transfer these successful experiences to small and medium-sized Latin American producers, promoting the adoption of efficient processes, compliance with export standards, and optimization of supply chains. Initiatives such as the modernization of coffee production in Guatemala, the export of mangoes from Mexico, and the transformation of the olive oil sector in Córdoba, Spain, will benefit from the knowledge gained through these visits.
These experiences reinforce the shared vision of HSA and FALAM (Federation of Latin American Mayors) to connect knowledge and technology with the needs of local producers. Through strategic alliances and the exchange of successful experiences, HSA continues establishing itself as a bridge between innovation and development, ensuring that Latin America competes on equal terms in the global market without relying on intermediaries or monopolies.
