The Hispanic Social Assembly (HSA) continues its expansion in Latin America with a key meeting held in the municipality of Tarija, Bolivia, between HSA’s local board and the directors to establish the working methodology and evaluate productive projects. This meeting marked an important step toward consolidating initiatives that foster local economic development, focusing on community integration and collaboration with key players such as the Tarija Municipality.
Tarija is renowned for its agricultural wealth, boasting a strong tradition in the production of grapes, wines, and tropical fruits. It is also a region with immense potential for developing productive projects that not only strengthen the local economy but also offer sustainable solutions to improve residents’ quality of life. In this context, HSA aims to leverage the region’s strengths and contribute to the growth of productive sectors by implementing an efficient work strategy and conducting constant evaluations to ensure the projects’ success and sustainability.
During the meeting, an integral approach to productive project development was discussed, including the following stages:
- Project Diagnosis and Selection: Identifying the needs and areas of greatest opportunity in Tarija, considering natural resources and the region’s productive capacity. Project selection is based on economic, social, and environmental feasibility.
- Project Implementation: HSA will collaborate with local producers, entrepreneurs, and municipal authorities to ensure the initiatives are effectively and efficiently executed. This includes technical training, financial support, and the creation of business support networks.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: A key aspect of the methodology involves continuous project tracking. Performance indicators will be used for periodic evaluations to measure the impact and sustainability of the initiatives. Lessons learned will be applied to refine and improve strategies.
