HSA Strengthens Alliances for Salvadoran Producers in the U.S.

The Hispanic Social Assembly (HSA) continues to solidify its role as a bridge between Latin American producers and international markets. In a key meeting held in Richmond, Virginia, Alejandro Suárez, representing the HSA, presented the platform’s vision and mission to government representatives, businesspeople, and producers from El Salvador. The meeting focused on outlining marketing and distribution strategies to connect Salvadoran producers with the U.S. market, starting with Virginia in the first phase, with plans to expand to the rest of the country.

During the working session, Alejandro highlighted the need to eliminate intermediaries and build a fairer trade model, where producers have direct access to buyers and distributors in the U.S. Proposals were discussed to develop strategic alliances that would facilitate the export of Salvadoran products, strengthening both small and medium producers. Additionally, initiatives were debated to ensure these products reach consumers with competitive prices and appropriate quality standards.

This meeting marked an important step in the expansion of the HSA as an economic development platform for Latin America. Collaboration with Salvadoran businesspeople and authorities will help structure an efficient and sustainable marketing channel, benefiting producers and expanding their presence in the U.S. market. The HSA remains committed to opening new opportunities and transforming the way Latin America markets its products to the world.
