The Hispanic Social Assembly (HSA) continues to consolidate its position as a platform for social and economic transformation in Latin America. Recently, Alejandro Suárez, representing the HSA, recently participated in a key event organized by the Dominican diaspora, in this space where entrepreneurs, community leaders, and representatives of various organizations gathered with a common goal: to strengthen the economic and social development of the Dominican community, both in their home country and abroad.
The event allowed for an in-depth exchange of ideas and strategies to boost business growth and the integration of Dominican markets into a broader commercial network. The HSA presented its vision of a more equitable economy, where barriers imposed by intermediaries will be reduced and strategic alliances between producers and international markets will be strengthened.
One of the key points of the meeting was the need to improve access for Dominican small and medium-sized entrepreneurs to direct marketing channels, eliminating structures that limit their growth. Various proposals were discussed to connect producers with international buyers and strengthen fair trade as a mechanism to guarantee more competitive prices and decent working conditions.
